Engineers and technicians of the GEBAT R&D team are the heart of the company.

We work with dedication, passion and professionalism, often in close contact with the technical teams of customers and strategic partners.

Our team is made up of people with proven experience in the field of electric vehicle chargers. In 50+ years of activity, and many centuries of cumulative experience, we have brought to the market some radical innovations. For example, we were among the pioneers of fast charging of EVs, when this technology was considered "impossible", and we built the first public DC fast charging stations for electric cars.

Today we are pioneering EV wireless charging and we are raising the bar of conductive charging, in a ralentless pursuit for innovation.

However, the projects we are most proud of are not the largest and most sophisticated ones, but the many little things we have developed at the request of our customers, helping them solve their specific problems, and contributing to improved performance, electrical efficiency and safety.

This is where GEBAT differentiates itself from other companies: every GEBAT project starts from listening to customers, be it the small user who requires a customization, or the organization that requires a new family of products, starting from scratch.

Engineering Services

Our engineering team can deliver optimized electronic designs for battery applications of any type, starting with the development of requirements, through production launch and after-sales support.

For better project planning and execution, we apply a standardized V-model process, that can be easily integrated into the customer's product development flow.

Our typical engineering services include:

Simulation of power electronics and electromechanics devices, including thermal, mechanical and fliud dynamics
Rapid prototyping and pre-series productions
Design verification testing, including functional, thermal, mechanical shock and vibration, HALT life cycle and IP protection
Efficiency and Power Quality testing and optimization
EMC pre-compliance testing and assistance for certification
Drafting of techincal documentation

GEBAT offers "turnkey" designs and productions with great flexibility in terms of volumes and variants. The internal manufacturing facility is supported by a global network of approved Contract Manufacturers to ensure scalable and logistically efficient production.
