Our Labs

GEBAT owns newly built electrical and electronic laboratories, equipped with the latest generation equipment.

The test benches have been configured to carry out various types of tests, with particular attention to electrical efficiency and power quality tests.

Key elements of the GEBAT test benches are our 800 kW high-precision bidirectional AC/DC and DC/DC power supplies, with fully digital control. They allow high power cycling with DC voltages up to 1200 V, in fully regenerative mode. The digital control of these power converters, together with active filters designed by GEBAT, ensure excellent stability and dynamic response. We perform power cycling on various electric/hybrid EV powertrain components, such as fuel-cells, batteries, DC/DC converters, electric motors and inverters.

We are experts in the certification of electronic converters, battery chargers and transformers according to European and North American standards. We perform pre-compliance tests and provide assistance in the product certification phase.
